Meet the Team

Our Exercise Physiologists are tertiary educated, allied health care professionals, who are all registered with the Australian governing body, Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA). Our Remedial Massage Therapists all have diplomas of massage and are registered with their governing bodies. This means you’ll be eligible for rebates if you have private health.

Accredited Remedial Massage Therapist

Desire migrated from South Africa where she practised as a Biokineticist (Exercise Specialist), rehabilitating sports injuries and pain syndromes (i.e. low back pain and neck pain). Drawing from her insights and experience she sees the value in identifying patterns and as a Remedial Massage therapist her philosophy is to treat the body holistically and not just the symptom.

She uses an array of remedial techniques, but especially makes use of myofascial release as she understands that muscle connects through the fascial fabric and are interdependent with other body systems. Desire is a mum of two and when she isn’t running after the kids she enjoys doing Crossfit with her husband.
